Biography

Mr. Sayeeduzzaman is a Speech and Language Therapist, educator, and rehabilitation professional with expertise in clinical practice, teaching, administration, ethics, and research. He graduated in Speech and Language Therapy from the Bangladesh Health Professions Institute (BHPI), Faculty of Medicine, under the University of Dhaka.

He earned a Master of Disability Management and Rehabilitation (MDMR) from the School of Science and Technology, Bangladesh Open University. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (MSc ASLP) at the Proyash Institute of Special Education and Research (PISER), affiliated with the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).

Mr. Sayeeduzzaman has more than four years of teaching experience in Speech and Language Therapy, rehabilitation sciences, professional ethics, and research methodology. He has contributed to the academic and professional development of students and healthcare professionals through teaching, mentoring, and curriculum-related activities.

Clinically, he serves as a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist at Special Care Foundation (SCF), Uttara, Dhaka, where he provides assessment, intervention, and consultation services for individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

His professional training includes certification as a Hanen “More Than Words” Practitioner (Canada), Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) Level 1 and Level 2 training from TalkTools (USA), Advanced Autism Management Training from the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP), and Bangla Sign Language Training from CRP. He has authored and co-authored several research publications and has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, seminars, and professional development programs.

Mr. Sayeeduzzaman is a Founder & General Member of the Society of Speech and Language Therapists (SSLT). Beyond his professional commitments, he maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys running, walking, cycling, and swimming.

His key areas of interest include Speech and Language Therapy education, rehabilitation management, professional ethics, administration, research methodology, and evidence-based clinical practice.
