Internship (5th Professional Year)

After successful completion of the 4th year, students undergo a 12-month mandatory internship in affiliated hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers. This internship provides hands-on clinical experience across different specialties, ensuring graduates are fully prepared for independent professional practice.

Minimum Requirement: 50% pass marks in each subject and method; at least 80% class attendance to be eligible for examinations.

Admission Information

The admission process at MCPHS is designed to select academically qualified and medically fit students for the B.Sc. in Speech & Language Therapy (BSLT) program. Candidates must meet specific academic requirements, pass an admission test, and undergo a medical examination to ensure readiness for both academic and clinical training.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Passed SSC & HSC (Science) or equivalent with Biology, Physics & Chemistry

  • Minimum combined GPA 7 in SSC & HSC

  • Minimum GPA 3 in each subject separately

  • Admission test and medical examination are mandatory

  • Admission circulars published on the MCPHS website, notice boards, and newspapers

Admission Process

  1. Application Submission – Complete and submit the admission form as instructed.
  2. Admission Test – Written examination held on the MCPHS campus.
  3. Medical Examination – Conducted by the medical board for fitness clearance.
  4. Final Selection – Based on merit list and health clearance.
